The Morgan State University Alumni Association Howard County Chapter (MSUAA HCC) is dedicated to supporting the academic success of Morgan students from Howard County. That's why we've established the MSUAA HCC Bear Pride Scholarship, having already awarded scholarships to hundreds of Morgan students from Howard County. These scholarships are paid directly to the student so it doesn't impact other financial aid. These funds may be used towards tuition, books, room and board, or other expenses for the 2024-2025 school year. We believe that no student should face delays in their education due to the rising costs of college.
Here's how we do it:
-
Each fiscal year, the MSUAA HCC raises funds from alumni through donations and other fundraising efforts such as the Let's Give Something Back Campaign, the Night at Toby's Dinner Theater, and the Caribbean Day Party.
-
Students must complete application by March 29, 2024.
-
Scholarship committee evaluates applications and determines award amounts.
-
The 2024 scholarship recipients will be presented award certificates at the Alumni Chapter's 35th Anniversary Gala on June 7, 2024.
So, you need to complete your application by the deadline of March 29, 2024. In the meantime, request your transcripts, request your letters of recommendation, and work on your essay. So you can stop stressing about increasing your student loan debt and instead apply to get financial assistance from the local alumni chapter so that you can focus on your education. If you have any questions, contact the scholarship committee at howardcounty.chapter@alumni.morgan.edu.
