We understand the desire to stay connected to the culture and do meaningful work that strengthens our community. That’s why this program is designed to inspire and activate.

At MSUAA Howard County Chapter, we know you want to be an engaged community member who celebrates Black history while helping create opportunities for future Morgan graduates. In order to do that, you need meaningful ways to connect, contribute, and stay rooted in the culture.
The problem is that many community events feel shallow or disconnected from real impact and that can make you feel like your presence isn’t making a difference. We believe every alumnus and community member deserves a space to celebrate our heritage and support the next generation.
We understand the importance of honoring our past while investing in our future, which is why our Living, Telling, and Making Black History program brings together culture, conversation, student leadership, and community empowerment in one powerful afternoon.
Here’s how it works:
-
Attend the event and experience an inspiring celebration of Black history and excellence.
-
Connect with alumni and students who are advancing meaningful work in Howard County.
-
Join or support the chapter through membership or scholarship contributions.
So register today and be part of a transformational celebration. In the meantime, explore ways to become a member or donor so you can stop wondering how to stay meaningfully connected and instead help strengthen a legacy that uplifts students and honors our shared history.
